The UV Injekt DTF Printing And Differences in Printing With DTF UV Compared to Regular UV

1.What is DTF UV injekt printing?

DTF UV ink printing has two methods.

The old way: AB film. The process is as follows:

Take out A film, glue on the surface, generally A4 or A3 size, can not roll.

The surface of A piece is torn off to reveal the rubber surface, and then the rubber surface is arranged on the flatbed printer, and the four corners are fixed on the printer plate.

Print white, then print CMYK color picture.

Cover B film and laminate.

Use cutting equipment (or cut by hand with scissors) along the edges of the picture.

Take A picture from Sheet A, attach it to the surface of the product, and peel off Sheet B.

New Method: Improved method, print glue directly from the print head.

Remove a film coated with an ink absorbing coating and leave it unglued.

Print glue first, then white, then CMYK picture, then glossy. Thus, a printer with at least four print heads.

Roll up the printed film. Send it to the customer and, whenever he wants to use it, tear a picture from the film and attach it to the product surface.

This glue direct print DTF UV can do industrial printing, and the printer is very cheap. We can have good wishes for that. But spray nozzle is still a big challenge, difficult to improve.

DTF UV printing is only suitable for hard product surfaces. It is used for small sign printing. Do not need any plate making, can do small batch printing. The printing speed is very fast, the customer sends the job, waits half an hour, and then he can take the finished product away. This is a very high margin printing job.

2.What are the main differences in printing with DTF UV compared to regular UV?

The printer should have at least 4 spray heads, 1 spray glue head, 1 spray white head, 1 spray CMYK head, 1 spray glossy oil head.

The film is used for DTF UV printing.

Glue special, should have good adhesion, and print head friendly enough. Usually, glue is not friendly to the print head.

CMYK and light oil are ordinary UV inks.
