Brood X cicadas are expected to appear in 15 states in the United States in late April. Under the Weather® (UTW) has added a brand new WalkingPod™ Mesh to the company’s error screen Pod series. The limited edition WalkingPod mesh is a warm, wearable mesh screen foam that can pop out in a few seconds and can be easily slipped over the upper body as a breathable, fully enclosed cover.
In UTW’s cold weather WalkPod design, the ultra-soft, fine mesh screen on all sides replaces the transparent cold-treated PVC board. The mesh panel provides excellent airflow, coupled with the UPF 50 protective top plate, can protect users and keep cool in warm weather.
The WalkingPod mesh has adjustable shoulder straps and waist belts to keep the user’s hands free. It also has tight armholes for walking around. The durable, well-fitting mesh bottom of the screen ensures a snug fit. The WalkingPod mesh can be decorated in safety yellow or dark gray.
Like all UTW Pods, the WalkingPod mesh adopts a one-piece wire frame structure, so it is very flexible and can be suddenly popped and folded without assembly. The limited edition WalkingPod Mesh can also be carried on travel and can be folded into a compact backpack suitcase.
WalkingPod Mesh is ultra-lightweight, easy to carry and wear. It is ideal for lawn workers, gardeners, beekeepers, hikers, dog people, commuters and outdoor enthusiasts.
WalkingPod Mesh is the latest member of the WalkingPod series. It is the first wearable member of UTW’s stand-alone Screen Pod series, which features six-seater MonsterMeshPod™, MyPod™Mesh stand-alone tent and two-seater MyPod™Mesh 2XL.
UTW President Kelly Mahan said: “Our mission at UTW is to create products that can help people feel safe, protected and comfortable under various conditions, and WalkingPod Mesh does exactly that.”
WalkingPod Mesh is priced at US$89.99 and is currently on sale exclusively on UTWPods.com. Pre-orders will start in mid-April 2021.
