The measurement range of densitometer is 0-2.5. The larger the number, the higher the blackness. The basic principle of the measurement is to measure the blackness of the sensitive material after exposure and development. In plate making, the silver bromide on the photosensitive material is affected by the light, and after development, it is reduced to metallic silver, forming a certain opacity. The density is high for those with high blackness and low for those with low blackness. The meter with filter can also measure the color density of the original color. The measuring principle is similar to the above basic principle.
